Selecting Brushes

Any painting with the exception of graphics welcomes the use of brushes. The latter are selected depending on the type of paint:

Acrylic and oil – brushes with a synthetic working base;
Gouache – pork wool and synthetics;
Watercolor – kolinsky, sable, squirrel.

The ends of the brushes have different shapes - sharp, semicircular, straight, fan-shaped. The choice of form depends on the complexity of drawing a certain element. Therefore, to paint a still life, it is recommended to choose a set of brushes - about 6 pieces. That is, bright accents will appear in a monochromatic room that will make it fresher and lighter.

Fans of classic kitchen design should take a closer look at still lifes or landscapes. But, if the kitchen is made in Provence or country style, then the recommendations will be different. In this case, paintings depicting food look best. Unusual panels using the patchwork technique would also be appropriate. Textiles are used to create them and, if desired, you can order work with additional pockets for small items.

And of course, one cannot fail to note the modern style of kitchen design. For large, spacious rooms it is most often chosen. In this case, the paintings should also be made in a modern manner. An excellent solution would be futuristic motifs and unusual abstraction.

We should also talk about the size of the picture. Please note that if the kitchen is small, then you should not purchase bulky or too massive products. It will look ridiculous. It is much better to select several small paintings with a similar theme and hang them on the wall with small indentations.

There is an opinion that for a kitchen with high ceilings it is worth purchasing only vertical paintings. In turn, horizontal ones are more suitable for wider walls. This is partly true. Due to this, the kitchen looks more harmonious. But other options are still acceptable, because a lot depends on the interior and design as a whole. In addition, vertical paintings help visually adjust the space.

As for the plot of the picture, try to take into account the opinions of all family members. It has been proven that the design of walls has a special impact on the emotional state. Therefore, you need to choose the most suitable option that everyone will like.

The most popular are landscape and still life. It is believed that they are as neutral as possible, so they will definitely not affect the mood of family members.
