If we are talking about natural stone, it cannot be glued to plasterboard walls, because natural stone is very heavy. Artificial stone is more suitable for a decorative pattern; it weighs less, therefore, the walls can support large quantities of it. You should not glue decorative stone directly onto the wallpaper.

- Remove the part of the wallpaper that you want to decorate with a pattern;

- After pasting the area, the stone must be varnished so that it lasts longer.

To make finishing the hallway with decorative stone and wallpaper, as in the photo below, easy and the results lasting, you must first prepare the base. To do this, old finishing materials are removed and irregularities are removed. The surface is treated with a primer.
