How does the pendulum mechanism of a glider chair work?
The design of the pendulum mechanism is very simple. These are 4 flat bars attached to the stationary base of the chair. Quite large holes are drilled on both sides of the bars. Bearings of the appropriate size are inserted into them. In this form, they are attached to the base while maintaining the shape of an imaginary trapezoid. The distance at the top will exceed the same parameter at the bottom.
There are 2 design options:
- Support in the form of 4 legs. In this case, the bars are attached diagonally between them and the transition elements to the armrests.
