This model got its name due to the characteristic relief on the facade depicting this mammal. The bed is made from environmentally friendly materials. Usually it is MDF, less often, chipboard. More expensive options may include elements from an array. The coating is a colorless varnish based on a hypoallergenic composition. The concept is designed to take into account the use of the bed over a long period - suitable for children from 3 to 12 years old.

The bed got its name due to the use of an additional side surface on the outside, reminiscent of the back of a dolphin.

When designing this model, engineers tried to make it as safe as possible for children: there are no sharp edges or corners on the surface that could cause injury. All contours are made as smoothly as possible, and the strength of the structure will allow the child to play without fear of injury. In addition, for preschool children there is a special bumper, which is designed to prevent falls during sleep.

A special side at the head makes the model safe, protecting the child from unexpected falls, and also preventing the pillow from sliding to the floor during sleep.

Note! The safety board is usually made of a removable type so that it can be easily removed when the child grows up.

The design of the model includes built-in drawers at the bottom. Under-bed drawers are the perfect place to store bedding, toys or clothes.

Functionality. The presence of drawers for storing linen allows you to optimally distribute free space in the children's room, and the removable collar, in addition to its aesthetic appeal, performs a protective function.
Large model range. The popularity of the design is so great that it is available in several varieties: lengths from 140 cm to 190 cm, and various combinations of pallets and drawers will allow you to choose the most suitable option for the nursery.
Easy to assemble. The standard solution is distinguished by the elaboration of details and a proven algorithm for installing the components.
Mattress as an option. Some sellers include the mattress in the price, while most manufacturers offer only the structure. This gives you the opportunity to be flexible when choosing a bed.

This model has few disadvantages:

Some options may use panels with melamine-coated ends, which results in a sharp edge. Of course, you can’t cut yourself with it, but such a solution is not welcome in children’s furniture.
Complicated assembly diagram. Often with unclear or overcomplicated instructions.
