Bamboo wallpaper is not so sensitive, so you can choose any varnish for it, and after the wall sticker has been successfully applied, the coating should be varnished. It is, of course, advisable to paint bamboo with a clear coating, since it already has a pleasant color.

If you miss the moment, there is nothing to worry about, you can also apply a varnish coating to the finished liquid wallpaper finish; special compositions are produced for this. However, in this case, you will have to work hard to carefully apply the varnish to the entire surface of the wall, with all its flaws and growths. In some cases, liquid wallpaper will look even better after varnishing.

Please note that not every varnish is effective or safe for wall coverings. For example, nitro varnish will not only happily damage the decorative fabric, but will also bring absolutely no benefit. This varnish is not used to protect wallpaper; it cannot be used for painting.

However, there are not only ready-made solutions; some specialists create a protective composition on their own from scrap materials.

To do this, they prepare an original mixture of shellac and borax. The result is a dark protective composition that can be used for similar finishing.

• The varnish reflects sunlight, thereby protecting the decorative wallpaper from fading. This is a long-known advantage of the material; just remember how long the lining on the balcony retains its original color.
• The strength of the protective layer protects the wallpaper from mechanical influences; now the wallpaper is not afraid of scratches, chips, and dents.

Light walls look beautiful, but quickly get dirty, especially in a nursery
