They are divided into two groups:

Spring blocks. This type of filler provides elasticity and has orthopedic properties. In turn, spring blocks are divided into dependent and independent. Dependent blocks are so called because when one spring is pressed, the others begin to move. Independent blocks. Each spring is sewn into a separate fabric cover. Then all the springs are formed into strips and the entire block is assembled. The advantage of this model is its excellent orthopedic effect.

Living room-bedroom design (ready-made projects)

Let's start our assembly with completely finished design projects, where you can see the location of all the furniture in the room.

Design project 1 (modern interior)

This project was developed by m2Style.ru studio. It provides for placing three zones in a small room at once - a bedroom, a living room and a workplace. The room is visually divided into 2 parts, on one side there is a sofa and a TV, on the other side there is a bed and a computer table.

For visual zoning of the room, 3 solutions were used:

there is a low partition at the bottom (you can make one from plasterboard)
on top of the ceiling there is a thin and wide “beam”;
the walls of both parts are painted differently (in the sleeping area there is striped wallpaper or so, in the congratulatory area there is photo wallpaper).

An air conditioner found its place above the bed. Under the bed are drawers that are useful niches for storing bedding or other items. This solution is especially useful for small apartments, where there is usually not enough space for a large number of wardrobes and chests of drawers.

In the living room area there is not only a sofa, but also a fairly large wall, in which there is a full-fledged closet and many other niches for storing things. In the center of the wall there is space for a large TV. The solution is very successful.

Dark laminate with a chamfer harmonizes perfectly with light furniture and ceilings, as well as photo wallpaper. By the way, the latter can be replaced by uniformly painting the wall, and then hanging pictures there. An example of such a solution is below:

An alternative option for zoning the living room and bedroom according to wall decoration. And finally, a photo of the workplace:

As you can see, the workplace requires not only the location of a small computer table and chair, but also a fairly large wall for storing things.

By the way, the doors to the room are located in the middle of the side wall, and if there is not enough space for them to open outward in your planning, you can make sliding doors, the kind that hide into the wall when opened. But we will talk about this in another article.

Design project 2 (modern interior)

We found this living room-bedroom interior on the website of the Lystopad residential complex (https://lystopad.if.ua), which is being built in Ivano-Frankivsk. Here, thin sliding partitions were used for zoning, separating the bedroom and living room. To effectively use the space, there are drawers under the bed, and on the side there is a small bedside table with space for a night lamp.

It is worth noting that making such an interior will not be easy, because such partitions can only be made to order. The same applies to the double ceiling, which uses wooden planks. The cornice for tulle and curtains is also hidden behind such a board.

Opposite the bed and sofa there is a computer table, a wardrobe, a shelf and a long bedside table for storing things. There was also a place for a TV, it was mounted on the wall so that you could watch it from both the sofa and the bed.

As we see here, the designer showed not only how to arrange the living room and bedroom in one room. The kitchen, hallway, loggia - everything is decorated in the same style as the living room.

This design project is a wonderful example of how a small apartment of about 40 square meters can be made very cozy and stylish.

Design project 3 (alternative to the first)

This project is an alternative to the first one (shown above). Here, instead of a horizontal partition, a vertical one is used; it is shorter, but higher, from floor to ceiling.

This partition looks more impressive; only a narrow single bed can be completely hidden behind it. In the previous case, a horizontal partition would have completely hidden a wide double bed.

There is also a difference in the location of the sofa; it is returned to the other side - the side towards the door. The wall is also slightly different; here all the cabinets have their doors facing the window.

Opposite the sofa there is a wall for the TV, which includes wall-mounted shelves and cabinets. This TV wall goes into a computer table, which is located by the window (opposite the bed).

The ceiling here is also made in a different style; it is glossy and hanging. There is no “beam” in the middle above the plasterboard partition.

There is also a difference in the floor covering; here the laminate is light. According to the sides of the furniture, they are dark. In the previous project it was the other way around, although, in theory, nothing prevents you from using both the first and second solutions.

In general, this arrangement of furniture is perfect for rooms with an area of about 18-20 square meters. But the room should not be too long and narrow, but closer to square.
