Step 3. Connection work. Take square parts that are ten centimeters wide, and place a board one hundred and forty-five centimeters long on their end part. Tighten the structure using screws. In the same way, repeating your steps, make the lower and upper blanks for the future table.

Cabinet

Consoles and brackets
Supporting devices are designed to secure the overhead wires in a certain position relative to the track axis, the level of the rail head, the ground and other structures. For these purposes, consoles, brackets, rigid and flexible crossbars are used.
To fasten the supporting cables of catenary suspensions, various brackets with rods, called consoles,
which are classified:
• according to the number of overlapped paths - single-track (Fig. 7.1, a, b, c),
double-track (Fig. 7.1, d,

and in some cases three-track;

• according to the presence of insulation - uninsulated and insulated. The console consists of a bracket, a rod and a strut; it is attached to
the support is hinged with the help of a heel and held on the support with the help of a rod. The heels of the consoles and rods can be rotary or fixed; consoles that also have rotary units are called rotary. The cantilever rods, depending on the direction of application of loads, can be stretched or compressed.
Inclined insulated consoles, regardless of the type and size of the support, must be equipped with struts.
Single track consoles
used on hauls of single- and double-track sections, where contact suspensions of each track must, as a rule, be mechanically separated.
On multi-track sections and at stations, it is allowed to install double-track consoles.
Multi-track consoles covering three tracks can be used as an exception if it is impossible to rationally use rigid or flexible crossbars.
Single-track consoles can be: non-insulated,
when insulators are located between the supporting cable and the bracket and in the clamp;
isolated (Fig. 7.2), when insulators are mounted in a bracket, rod and strut at the support; insulated with reinforced (double) insulation,
in which there are insulators both in the bracket, rod and strut at the supports, and between the supporting cable and the bracket.
In isolated consoles, the insulators are removed from the zone of direct influence of smoke and gases escaping from the pipes of diesel locomotives (during the period of transfer of the section to electric traction or during mixed traction). This reduces contamination of the insulators and increases their reliability. In addition, it is possible, without removing the voltage from the contact network, to carry out work on the supporting cable in places where it is suspended on consoles, which is unacceptable with non-insulated consoles. provides a more stable position of the supporting cable, and also allows such consoles to be installed on supports of lower height.
In inclined consoles
the rod is located horizontally or with a large slope up or down towards the support; therefore, the support devices may be of lower height compared to supports for a horizontal console.
Horizontal control
makes it possible to more widely adjust the position of the supporting cable relative to the axis of the track and allows you to place reinforcing wires on the bracket.
When routing the contact network, the type of consoles is selected depending on the type of support device (cantilever support, rigid cross member), size, installation location (straight, internal or external side of the curve) and purpose of the support (intermediate, transitional), as well as the loads acting on the console. Curved Consoles
consist of a figured bracket, made depending on the design load from two channels No. 5;
6.5; 8; 10 or 12 and a stretched rod made of a rod with a diameter of 16 mm (Fig. 7.3, a).
Non-insulated curved consoles were previously used when installing supports with normal (3.1-3.5 m) and increased (4.7-4.9 and 5.7 m) dimensions for both alternating and direct current.

In addition to non-insulated curved consoles, the same horizontal consoles are used, the straight bracket of which is located horizontally, and the extended rod is inclined. The console bracket is made of two channels with fixing posts mounted on them or without posts. Horizontal consoles are designated in the same way as curved ones, but the letter G is added, for example VG-P-8-a; their installation requires higher supports than curved ones.
In recent years, insulated or non-insulated double straight inclined consoles (Fig. 7.4) have been installed with normal and increased dimensions, bracket 4
which has a straight shape and consists of two channels with connecting strips or pipes.

When installing supports with dimensions of 5.5–5.7 m, the consoles are installed on tables (Fig. 7.5). The same figure shows a console consisting of two rods - horizontal and inclined with the support cable located on top of the console.
On the transition supports of the anchor sections, each branch of the compensated catenary suspension is suspended and fixed on a separate console (see Fig. 7.4), and their relative position must correspond to the diagram shown in Fig. 7.6 and fig.

Using the same technology you can make a narrow dining table on two legs .
This compact model will be greeted with a bang by owners of small kitchens where there is no room even for a snack. To do this, again, you will need a square table - you can buy a modern one, but your grandfather’s inheritance will look especially chic. The technology is exactly the same. Just don’t forget to first remove all the “internals” - drawers, folding mechanism, etc.
But what to do with the second half of the table if you don’t need the second console (see master class No. 3)?
If you want to use such a valuable resource with maximum benefit, make a two-tier console bar with a shelf . The main difference is that the legs of the upper part are shortened by about half (they can be larger or smaller, depending on the tasks of the rack).
How can you use such a console? Whatever! It is ideal not only for the hallway, but also for the dining room or minibar. By the way, pay attention to how the author of the idea coped with the task of storing bottles: they are stored in tubes for stationery. And the glass holder can be hung from the bottom of the second tier.

Consoles in the hallway
Straight inclined non-insulated consoles made from two channels are designated by the letters HP (H - inclined, P - stretched rod) or NS (C - compressed rod), and from a pipe - by the letters NTR (T - tubular) and NTS.
Insulated consoles are used for fastening the supporting cable to supports installed with normal or increased dimensions. The console brackets are also made from two channels or from a galvanized pipe with an outer diameter of 50 mm. The material for the stretched rods of the consoles is a steel rod with a diameter of 16 mm, and for the compressed ones - galvanized pipes with an outer diameter of 25 mm. To ensure correct placement of the catenary above the axis of the rod path, the consoles have special adjusting parts that allow you to change their length: in extended rods there are adjusting brackets with holes, and in compressed rods there are adjusting pipes. The console bracket is isolated from the support by cantilever rod insulators KSF70, KSF100, KSK120, and the rod is isolated by rod insulators FSF70, FSF100. Garlands of insulators PF70, PSF70, PS70 or rod insulator NSF70, NSF100, etc. are embedded into the stretched rods.

Insulated consoles are supplemented with a strut with a rod insulator or without an insulator with the strut attached to the rod. The strut should be in a taut position and lightly loaded. The place where the strut is attached to the console bracket should be located at a distance of no more than 500 mm from the place where the clamp is attached.
Insulated consoles made from pipes are designated ITR (I - insulated) or ITS, and those made from channels are designated IR or IS. Just like with non-insulated consoles, the Roman numeral indicates the number of their type along the length of the bracket, Arabic numerals indicate the number of the channel from which the console bracket is made; the letter “p” - for the presence of a strut, the letter “u” - for isolated insulation, for example, ITR-Sh-up or IS-P-5.
Consoles with compressed rods are installed in places subject to high wind influences (floodplains, embankments more than 5 m high) and self-oscillations, with the exception of the outer side of curved sections with a radius of less than 1000 m.
Straight brackets, extensions and racks are used for hanging supply, reinforcing, suction and other wires.
Brackets
All modifications are installed, as a rule, horizontally (Fig. 7.7). Their inclined position is allowed if it is impossible to ensure the standard distances from the wires to the ground surface.
In windy places and when supports are located on the outer side of a curve with a radius of less than 1500 m, the brackets on which two DPR wires are suspended (or one DPR wire with the prospect of hanging a reinforcing wire), regardless of their position (horizontal or inclined) must have special

On the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway, during the reconstruction of the contact network, metal brackets of the MG-1 type were used to hang the wires of the 10 kV overhead line (Fig. 7.8, a),
in places where the wires are transposed, brackets of the MG-P and MG-Sh types are installed (Fig. 7.8,
b).
