Even if the adhesive tape deteriorates, there is nothing to worry about - you can buy new ones at any large curtain store.
All you need to do is stick the tape on the cornice evenly and at the level where your bandeau should be attached at the highest point. Before gluing, be sure to wipe the cornice and clean it, if there are stains or accumulations of dust - the adhesive tape will not fit well on a dirty surface and the lambrequin will eventually fall off. Attach it to the sticky surface and press, trying to align the structure along one line - it is very important that the decorative element hangs evenly, especially if you choose a heavy model.
